- Great way to heat your pool Review by Tim
-
Rating I have had my solar heater now for 6 years and have it mounted on my roof. I live in Indiana so the days don't really get hot until June. I open the pool in April - May and by June the heater has my pool temp up to the lower 80's. If you own a pool larger than 12' than you are better off buying 4 x 20 collectors. A word of wisdom... If you run the solar heater on cloudy or rainy days, it will lower your water temp. It is also best to use a solar cover when not using the pool and at night, as this will help keep the heat in the water and help prevent evaporation and loss of chemicals. This is a great product and will last a long time.

Rating I was hesitant to buy this solar heating system at first, but good thing I found this website with reviews in it and a video sample. Now I am glad I purchased this, and only being a week and a half of using it, the water on my pool has gone 7 degrees higher, from 78 degrees to 85 degrees. I can't wait til' we get hotter summer days in GA and see how high the degrees jump to.

Rating installing the solar heater for my pool was about as simple as could be. I am very pleased with the solar water heater that I purchased for my pool. I would reccommend this product to anyone, it raised my pool temp and average of ten degrees.

Rating I live in Twin Falls,Idaho, it doesn't warm up very early. The solar heating system helped my water in the pool to heat up very quickly. I was able to enjoy my pool more because of the comfortable temperature of the water. Thank you for the great prices. Mrs. Weltzin

Rating I've had the solar heater panels for a few years. They really do heat the water well. Here are a few things I learned about setting up and using them: *Build a rack to place them on(outdoor lumber), support them fully or they will sag and rain water will collect in the low areas making it sag even more. *Connecting thru the pool filter system really boggs down the water flow and the output back into the pool was very low. I used an old filter pump to create a separate system for the heater. *To get water to and from the heater you need to install ports in the pool wall. This is best done when the water level is below the skimmer intake, typically in the spring before opening the pool. When drilling holes you must be careful of metal chips getting between liner and pool wall. I took a different approach: I got some PVC pipe and made two tubes that go over my deck to and from the water. I also have a solar cover, so I put the tubes on the end of the pool deck by the cover reel.(above ground rectangular p
