This easy-to-operate solar reel features a weather resistent Stainless Steel rolling base with a large, smooth turning resin wheel. The system's adjustable width aluminum roller tubes are designed to keep the solar blanket secure by using unique, easy to attach elastic straps. When the solar cover is rolled up, removing it from the pool area is a breeze. Heavy duty wheels on one end and a secure stable "T" base on the other. Simply lift the "T" base end and roll the entire assembly across your deck away from the pool to your storage area. Easy installation. Made with non-corrosive materials--built to last!

I purchased this reel for my Lazy L shaped pool 20'W x 44'L. The assembly directions were adequate. I placed the reel on the straight end of my pool. To rool the cover up I fold in the lazy L and start rolling. To keep the cover straight I have to make a couple of trips to the other side of the reel. With two people its a snap. To unroll the cover is super easy and fast. I was told I would need a comercial reel for my pool. I'm happy I took a chance on this reel. I would not hesitate to recommend this reel.

It has been a month since we purchased the reel. The wheels make it great to move with ease. The large handle and wheel make it a snap for one person to remove the solar cover. I would have given this reel 5 stars if it were not for the directions. Still, it is a great reel for the price.

assembly instructions lacking Review by Jim

The product is great but the only instructions provided (in this case half provided) in the box was the exploded view of how to assemble the ends. No photos, no second page of instructions which included how to attach the cover to the reel. I finally found the assembly instructions on-line.

Follow the instructions and its easy to put together. Holds my 12ml cover and doesn't sag. Rolls up easy..kids even can do it.

Easy to move and sturdy construction. Didn't take long at all to put it together. I like the bigger wheels on this, my old reel had those small casters that got stuck in the concrete cracks of my deck all of the time.
