I have a 24 ft round pool.This makes it a little easier to take the solar cover off and put on.If you have a round pool,buy the rope kit to put at each end,makes it alot easier to roll the cover out when putting the cover on.The only thing I don't like is the screws keep coming loose,which I am going to fix with nuts and bolts.

We bought this product and overall are happy. However, beware that the screws to put the pole together end up coming out...the screws can go into the pool which you don't want them to rip the liner!!! The reel itself is easy to use but just be careful of those screws!!

This was delivered in 2 days after I placed the order! It took about 2 hours to install and it works great! So much easier than folding it! So far it has only been 2 days but I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I installed the equipment today and it took about 1 1/2 hours. It was something that should not be attempted alone. 2 people are a must. It look great. It is going to save a ton of time not having to clean the pool because the old way, the solar cover was thrown on the ground and thus dirt and grass clippings were put in the pool when it was put back on.

My husband and I installed this without much trouble. The reel works great on our 15X30 pool. I can cover and uncover the pool by myself in just a few moments.

Love it. It makes covering your pool much easier. We did have a part break and callled customer service and right away the part was shipped the very next day. Thanks Doheny- Would buy supplies any where else.

This came as two shipments. Instructions in the box were very confusing, however there are updated instructions online. Even so, there are extra parts in the boxes. I ended up using the wrong screws for one section (the screws I should have used were not in the bag with all the rest of the parts). That said, overall this is a great reel, and it's fairly easy to install (I did it by myself). As a note, even though it says that it's only good up to 12ml covers, I bought a 16ml and it works fine with it. My pool is 15x30 too.

I purchased this product because of the price and it was worth it becaus it has saved alot of time in removing the cover and placin it back on after use..

Hated going out at night to struggle with solar cover. So decided to try the reel system. Delivery was very fast. Parts were complete. The instructions however weren't the most helpful though. I did call Doheny's however and they were very helpful in the installation process. Turns out the instructions I had were an outdated version. System works great. Love the fact that we can rotate and essentially remove the reel for swimming. Not to difficult to get cover back on. It is easier with two people but can also be done with one. Just takes a couple extra minutes. The system would benefit from a pole to keep reel upright when rotated away from pool. I made my own.
