Rating This skimmer is more sturdy than the standard skimmer because of the aluminum core and worth the small difference in price. I've had two of the standard that had to be tossed because the rim broke.

Rating we had one for a long time that we order from here and we finally had to replace it - much better quality than the ones you would find in the big discount stores and probably cheaper than a pool supply store.
