Rating If you leave these in teh pool all summer, they last about 1 season. In direct sunlight, the LCD screen turns black after it gets hot, but will return to normal once it cools off. I like that they stay on. I bought a more expensive replacement and I have to turn it on every time I want to read it. Basically, these are a good, one season product. I buy 2 every year for my hot tub and my pool.
