Looks good Review by Todd
Recently, received 19" filter to replace 10 yr old 100 lb filter. I can't comment yet on the operation of it buy on the surface everything looks good. Only minor complaint I have is the sticker for the dial is not aligned with the notches ... a little bit annoying.
Great Price / Great Performance Review by Joe
After fighting an undersized filter (due to my lack of knowledge) for four years, I bought the 24" Dehoeny filter. Set up was easy, got it running with Zeo Sand late in the evening, and when I woke up the next morning, my constantly murky pool is now sparkling clear. Amazing!. Now I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner.
Works good, only problem sun bleached out dial on top. Review by JUDY
The filter works really good, not had any problems except for one. The top cover that shows the slots for filtering and backwashing and all the other options faded completely. I noticed this happening and fully intended to get a marker and mark each option but forgot and by the time I got back to looking at the filter they were completely gone. Luckily I was able to get online and look at the owner's manual and print a picture of the top off.
UPDATE from Doheny's: We have recognized that the label was an issue on some of the tanks. We have since changed the printing process so this is no longer an issue.
Great deal Review by skeeter107
After a deep freeze here in El Paso ruptured our sand filter I needed a new one and started looking around town. The cheapest I could find was about 600 dollars. Meanwhile, I wrote to Doheny's to ask if the 24" filter would be suitable and they responded that the 24" would indeed work but I could even get by with the 19" inch filter. How many companies would do that? Anyway, the filter arrived quickly and seems to be working flawlessly. I could not be more pleased.
