Rating I use two of these when I blow my lines dry at the end of the season. Simply install them after removing your Eyeball directionals and open them to allow air/water to escape. Pressurize the water lines with a vacuum on blow and wait till ou see the air blowing out of the lines. Run for a few minute to force the air water mixture of of the line and then quickly shut them off by turning them shut. Do the other and the majority of the air will be coming out of bottom of the pool. I do pressurize at the skimmer where I then screw on the "thingy" into the fitting. You can then seal that up and you've blown your lines. A gallon or so of line anti-freeze will keep you plumbing safe over the winter...
