Removes High Levels of Phosphates
Phosphates promote algae growths, turning your pool water green. Use PHOSfloc if your phosphate level is over 1,000 ppb. Dosage: 4 lb of PHOSfloc will remove 4,000 ppb of phosphates per 10,000 gal depending on your phosphate level. pH must be adjusted to 7.2 before applying. PHOSfloc will cause coagulates which will need to be vacuumed to waste and will leave your phosphate level more manageable. Follow-up with PHOSfree (item #7447) or Pool Pefect + PHOSfree (item #6533) to reduce your phosphate level to near zero."
