I have worked with many residental and commercial pool pumps over the years and this one sets the standard. First, heat destroys pumps, so they made this one light in color. It lowers the operating temp by 10 degrees when it runs in the sun.

Nice quiet pump, it looks easy to service, I assume it's easy to service, I have never had to do anything to it, but most pumps are black metal and are hard to service after the bolts start rusting. This one is mostly plastic and bolts appear to be stainless so I assume servicing would be easy.
