20+ years and no problems Review by Dave
Had this pump for over 20 years and with only periodic maintenance, a bearing, couple of seals, the usual, and with that it has worked flawlessly.
I installed an electrical plug on it so I can unplug it easily and bring it indoors during the winter months.
Time now to give some new o rings and some more TLC.
Not a good long-term investment Review by Bill
I'm on my second pump in 10 years. Both time the shaft seals started leaking. I probably changed seals 5 or 6 times. The last one leaked enough to destroy the motor bearings and melted the cooling fan in the motor. I had it repaired by a local pool dealer and it started leaking again in 6 months. I replaced the seal plate, shaft seals, impeller, and O rings. 2 months later and it's leaking again. Too much good money after bad in my book.
was nice, but.... Review by Chris
bought the 1.5hp in may/june of 2011. worked great for that summer and the summer of 2012. This summer however, the impeller started grinding on the diffuser and they destroyed eachother. I cleaned up the diffuser, installed a new impeller and still no good. so much for that stellar one year warranty when it craps out after year two.....unreal
Very quiet Review by John
The pump came on the third day after ordering. I made one mistake. The pump inlet and output were 2 inches rather than 1 1/2 inches. The old pump was 1 1/2 hp, but 1 1/2inches. Some new plumbing was required, but the install was easy.
