When it comes to pool safety, multiple layers of protection against body suction entrapment are crucial. As an additional layer of protection, Hayward introduces Stratum VRS a vacuum release system that monitors and measures pressure in suction lines in swimming pools and spas the next level in peace of mind. Currently, the only VRS to both vent the pump suction line to atmosphere and turn off the power to the pump motor. Capable of monitoring suction lines for single or two speed pumps, with or without a booster pump, that share a common suction line. During start-up, the Stratum adjusts to current operational parameters of the system. Designed for use with single phase pumps up to 3 HP. For use in suction lift or in flooded suction. Meets and exceeds all relevant ASME/ANSI performance standards. Easily installed in as little as one hour and has a seven-day programmable timer."
