Superalgaecide Review by guest
First time user of this and I am happy with it so far. I have been treating red algae which is a long process to get rid of this. So far, I am down to a spot here or there. I think that's success. My pool looks fantastic...very blue, very clear.
Yes, I can recommend this.
AMAZING PRODUCT Review by rlh
I have used this product several times. I was getting black algae in my skimmers and to my amazement, when I used it the first time, it cleared right up within a couple of days. I HIGHLY recommend this one for all types of algae. amazed!
Alg. Plus Review by ArmyVet
After years of fighting the algae wars, I turned to this product. No need to elaborate: it worked immediately after I put in the initial 6 oz.
Not only does this product clean up the algae, it is also much easier (and cheaper) to keep the pool itself clean.
KNOCK the MUSTARD out of your pool...!!! Review by Dr. Chris
Most of us who have pools know about green algae, and black algae, but MUSTARD algae is a totally different animal (oops, pardon me...Plant).
No matter how much chlorine you put in your pool, it won't kill Mustard Algae. And most algaecides on the market will kill green and black algae, but not Mustard.
So what kills Mustard, and how do ya know if you have Mustard?
First, Mustard algae is light in color...some people describe it as brownish-green, or greenish-brown, or tan-green. But here's the real key to knowing if you have Mustard...it will settle on the entire floor of the pool, and if you stir it up, it "whisps away" before settling back down.
Mustard algae is OFTEN confused with dust, dirt, or sand that has settled in your pool.
Second, if you want to kill Mustard algae (and green and black algae in the process), YOU MUST USE A COPPER-BASED ALGAECIDE...!!!
Most algaecides on the market don't have copper in them. Copper based algaecides kill all known varieties of algae...green (easy), black (harder), and Mustard (close to impossible).
I've used Copper-based algaecides since 1988, and by far, Doheny's Super Algaecide Plus is the Best of the Best. I use the recommended amount every single month that my pool is open. I recommend you do too.
Good product Review by DoubleA
First time using this product. Works great & lowers the need for me to chlorinate in my chlorine free pool. A little goes a long way.
