GREAT VALUE! Looking for quick results? This fast-acting shock features calcium-hypochlorite as the active ingredient (68% Calcium Hypochlorite) to help clear the most contaminated pools. Dilute with water before spreading across the pool surface.

MAIN INGREDIENT: Calcium Hypochlorite 68%
SHELF LIFE: 2-3 years
DOSAGE 1 lb per 10,000 gals (to provide dosage of 7.5 ppm free available Chlorine)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Dilute shock in bucket of water
- With pump running, broadcast evenly at deep end
- Brush any particles that have settled to bottom
- Let pump run for 6-8 hrs minimum after applying
- Recommended to shock at night and let pump run overnight
- Do not re-enter pool until chlorine is 1-4 ppm

We have had our pool for about 5 years and have always had a problem keeping chlorine in it, therefore always had an algae problem. Since using this shock, my chlorine levels are perfect and my pool is crystal clear. The headaches are over. Try it, youll like it.

In my opinion - powdered shock is shock.. I can't complain... this product does what it's advertised to do... Better than some real junk I've bought elsewhere... but still doesn't dissolve as quickly as I'd like. I pour about 1/3 of a bag into a 5 gallon bucket... let it sit and then toss the whole thing into the pool. For the price I'm happy!

This is the best shock I've used. It's effective for at least twice the length of time compared to the last shock I bought locally. It mixes well and disperses through the pool quickly without leaving sediment on the bottom. The water turns a nice blue and stays that way between treatment. I'll be using this product again next season.
