Rating I have tried everything to get rid of algae and nothing worked until I found Ultima. Wait until the sun is off of the pool. It works best when you add shock first and then two hours later you dissolve the Altima in a bucket of pool water and pour it around the edges of the pool and pour the rest into the middle. Let it sit overnight. The next morning ALL of the algae is dead and on the bottom of your pool and you just vacuum it up! It's GREAT!!!
