Extra-Strength Metal Out - Doheny's Extra-Strength Metal Out is a powerful concentrated sequestering agent that is an easy solution to stains, scale, and discoloration caused by metals in your water. Ideal for areas with excessive metal and mineral problems, a must for pools that use well water. Note: When using Extra-Strength Metal Out, don't let your water's pH fall below 7.0 or you may experience serious corrosion damage.

Stain Remover - Made for all pool surfaces, Doheny's Stain Remover helps remove stains, residue, and spotting from all surfaces. Pre-dissolve, distribute, and stains disappear! Note: Best used when residual chlorine is dropped to 0.5 ppm and pH is between 7.0 and 7.1.

Directions for Use
Metal Out is best used for prevention of metallic stains and hard water scaling. It sequesters (picks up) the material causing stains and scale and holds them in solution. If stains exist, they may be old ones requiring complete cleaning of the walls, or stains of an organic nature. Dissolved metals and minerals (such as Iron, Calcium, Manganese, and Magnesium) in pool water and corrosion of metal pool fittings will often cause staining and/or scaling. Do not let pH of pool water fall below 7.0 or serious corrosion problems may result. For scale prevention it is also essential to maintain pH at 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity at 100 to 150 ppm, and calcium hardness at 100 to 275 ppm.
Stain and Scale Preventive Maintenance
1. Before using Metal Out, adjust pH between 7.2 to 7.6 2. For best results, use this product in the evening with pool pump and filter operating overnight 3. Add 4 to 6 ounces per 10,000 gallons every 4 to 5 days by premixing into plastic pail of water first. Dispense solution at deep end of pool. 4. Cloudiness may develop with the appearance of white flakes. This is normal indicating Metal Out is working and cloudiness will eventually disappear.
