The precise and extra-large cartridge filter element is made of non-woven fabrics, providing a high degree of water clarity, longer filter cycles and maximum water flow. For ease of use, the top cover is built with a pressure gauge and release valve to release built-up air pressure and is especially equipped with a fastening locking system which prevents dead locking. Each system features a 1-1/2 in. threaded or quick connector and is rated at 115 Volts / 60 Hertz.

Systems use AquaQuartz #20 silica sand #5451, or ZeoSand #4429. 16 in. system requires 100 lb silica sand (or 50 lb ZeoSand), 19 in. system requires 175 lb silica sand (or 88 lb ZeoSand) and the 24 in. system requires 300 lb silica sand (or 150 lb ZeoSand).
