Balance Your pH Levels With Ease - Balancing your pool's pH levels has never been easier with Doheny's pH Plus, pH Minus, and Alkalinity Up! Keep your pH level between 7.2 and 7.6 ppm. Staying within that range will keep you and your pool equipment safe. On top of that, having a balanced pool will prevent scaling or cloudy water. Remember, always adjust your Alkalinity levels before adjusting your pH levels. Alkalinity acts as a buffer for your pH levels. If your Alkalinity levels are out of balance, you will never be able to get your pH properly adjusted because it will never “lock in”. By making sure that your Alkalinity level is at 80-120 PPM first, then balancing your pH, it will be more stable and less susceptible to “pH drift”. pH drift occurs when your Alkalinity is out of balance and it causes your pH level to fluctuate wildly depending on bather loads and rain.
Stabilize Your Calcium Hardness Levels - Prevent stains and corrosion with Doheny's Calcium Plus and Calcium Reducer! Our strong solutions are built to act fast and work hard so you don't have to. Don't allow your Calcium Hardness levels to fall below 200 ppm. For plaster pools, maintain a range of 225-300 ppm and for vinyl, fiberglass, and non-masonry pools maintain a range of 175-225 ppm. If you are using well water in your swimming pool, a properly balanced calcium hardness level is a must!

Follow the instructions printed on the package carefully for the best results.
- For pools using unstabilized chlorine sanitizers: For new or recently refilled pools, add 2 lbs. Doheny's Pool Stabilizer per 5,000 gallons of water. If a pool stabilizer & conditioner has been used in the past, use a cyanuric acid test kit to determine how much is present in the water, and then add enough stabilizer to reach 50 ppm of stabilizer.
- For pools using stabilized chlorine sanitizer: For new or recently refilled chlorine pools, add 1 lb. per 5,000 gallons. Regular use of Doheny's pool stabilizer will gradually increase the stabilizer level during the season.
- Periodically test your pool water using a cyanuric acid test. A 40-60 ppm pool stabilizer level will help increase chlorine efficiency and reduce chlorine usage.
- Never mix pool stabilizer and conditioner with anything but water.
