Tip 1: How long can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?
We recommend removing your Dolphin after each use to empty and rinse the filters and to rinse off excess chemicals. It is ideal to store your Dolphin away when not in use. If using the weekly scheduler, you may keep it in the pool for one week, provided the filters are cleaned regularly.
Tip 2: How to safely remove the robot from the pool:
Gently pull the blue floating cable to bring the robot to the pool edge. Once in reach, grasp the handle to pull the robot out of the water. Place it on the edge to let remaining water drain. Important: Do not pull the Dolphin out of the water by the cable; always use the handle.
Tip 3: How to clean the filters:
Cleaning is simple: remove the filters, release the latch to drop out debris, and hose them off. Do not let filters dry out before cleaning, as clogged filters reduce performance. We suggest cleaning after every use.
Tip 4: Setting up the power supply:
Important: The power supply is water-resistant, not waterproof—keep it protected from the elements and at least 10 feet from the pool edge. Connect the blue floating cable by aligning the notch and turning clockwise. Plug into a GFI-protected outlet only. Do not use extension cords or surge protectors.
