Fast & Effective Algae Cleanup
Back To Clear targets all algae types. Smaller granules for fast-acting and effective treatment. Doesn't clump. Works in all pool types - including saltwater pools. Comes in 2 lb. and 4 lb. bottles. Dosage: 2 lbs. per 15,000 gallons.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
- DO NOT pre-mix Back to Clear with chlorine.
- DO NOT add Back to Clear to a bucket or pail.
- Shake well to break up and lumps (common during transport).
Adjust your pool's chemical balance:
- pH: at least 7.8
- Alkalinity: 80-120 ppm
- Cyanuric Acid: 25-75 ppm
- Chlorine Level: 2-2.5 ppm
TREATMENT:
- Add Back To Clear directly to the pool: 2 lbs per 15,000 gallons of water.
- Spread half around the pool's edge, focusing on areas with heavy algae.
- Add the remaining product directly to problem areas.
- Never exceed the recommended dosage.
- Wait 5 minutes.
- Shock the pool: Add 2 lbs of powdered chlorine (or equivalent) per 15,000 gallons directly to the pool.
- Run filtration continuously for 24 hours. If possible, use only the main drain.
- Repeat step 3 (chlorine addition) after 12 and 24 hours.
AFTER TREATMENT:
- Return pool equipment and chemical balance to normal.
STORAGE & DISPOSAL: STORAGE: Store the product in a cool, dry location with good ventilation. Keep the container closed tightly when not in use. Avoid storing it in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. DISPOSAL: Do not reuse or refill this container. When the product is empty, dispose of it according to local environmental regulations.
