Directions for Use: Begin with properly balanced pool water.
- Initial Filter Prep: First, clean or backwash your filter.
- Determine Dosage: Find the correct amount of product by referencing the provided dosage chart.
- Application: Shake the bottle well. While the circulation pump is running, pour the calculated dose directly into the skimmer.
- Filtration Cycle: Keep the filter running non-stop for the next 24 hours. It is critical that you do not backwash or clean the filter during this period.
- Post-Treatment: Once the 24-hour cycle is complete, clean or backwash your filter. You should then retest the phosphate levels; if necessary, repeat steps 1-5.
Important DE Filter Operating Note: If the DE filter pressure rise 10 psi above the normal start pressure, immediately turn the pump off for one minute, then restart it. If the pressure stays elevated after the restart, backwash or rinse the filter for 30 seconds.
DE & Cartridge Filter Guidelines: Do not exceed 52 fl oz (1.54 L) of product per single treatment application. If your pool requires a larger total dosage, you must clean or backwash the filter in between applications before adding the next portion.
