A Dirty Secret
Even in chemically treated hot tubs deposits of scum, grime and sludge can form in the piping. This comes from body oils, dirt and other organic debris. It can be a problem in new spas that are wet tested before leaving the factory. The formation of these deposits in the piping can lead to excessive chemical demand and an unpleasant feeling and smell to the water. High amounts of chlorine or harsh chemicals are often used to deal with these deposits. This can lead to damage of the equipment and if done indoors can cause heavy chemical odors. High doses of chlorine or other harsh chemicals are not the answer.

Dosing and Instructions
Remove filter. Turn on circulation system to high with all jets running. Add bottle per 400 gallons to the hot tub. Run through jets at high for 15 to 30 minutes. Drain water and clean spa shell. A small amount of Spa System Flush on a sponge can be used to wipe down the residue on the walls. (rubber gloves should be worn). Use entire bottle for hot tubs over 400 gallons. Reinstall filter, refill and balance hot tub water. Bottle label warning: Caution Spa System Flush should be stored out of the reach of children and may cause eye irritation and should not be ingested. Shelf life is 5 years.
