Filling and Emptying Shayz with Pool Water

As it fills it will slowly begin sinking and air will be forced out of the core through the bottom air holes under the seat and through the one-way vacuum air valve under the right armrest.

Step 2: As Shayz sinks lower into the pool you'll rotate Shayz so the risers (if added) will be fully under water and the air valve is facing upward. The air valve will now be the highest point where the air is escaping from the product core as the water fills the core. TIP: you can slightly unscrew the vacuum valve to allow air to escape from this port quicker if you want to speed the water filling process. However, you must remember to tighten the valve before proceeding to Step 3.

Step 3: Once the bubbles stop emerging from the vacuum valve you can turn the Shayz upright. Making sure to keep the bottom of the risers and the bottom of the Shayz under water to maintain the internal vacuum that will keep the water in the core. Then pull the Shayz into place on the sun shelf.

Step 4: Optional Pump: Your dealer offers an optional vacuum pump that can be connected to the port on the head of the vacuum valve. This allows you to use a pump to pull air from the core of Shayz and vacuum more water into the product core. This can be helpful for people who don't want to go through Steps 1 to 3. Filling and Emptying Shayz with Pool Water

As it fills it will slowly begin sinking and air will be forced out of the core through the bottom air holes under the seat and through the one-way vacuum air valve under the right armrest.

Step 2: As Shayz sinks lower into the pool you'll rotate Shayz so the risers (if added) will be fully under water and the air valve is facing upward. The air valve will now be the highest point where the air is escaping from the product core as the water fills the core. TIP: you can slightly unscrew the vacuum valve to allow air to escape from this port quicker if you want to speed the water filling process. However, you must remember to tighten the valve before proceeding to Step 3.

Step 3: Once the bubbles stop emerging from the vacuum valve you can turn the Shayz upright. Making sure to keep the bottom of the risers and the bottom of the Shayz under water to maintain the internal vacuum that will keep the water in the core. Then pull the Shayz into place on the sun shelf.

Step 4: Optional Pump: Your dealer offers an optional vacuum pump that can be connected to the port on the head of the vacuum valve. This allows you to use a pump to pull air from the core of Shayz and vacuum more water into the product core. This can be helpful for people who don't want to go through Steps 1 to 3. To fill Shayz entirely with the pump takes around 200 pumps, about 2-3 minutes of fast pumping. Note that when filling exclusively using the hand pump there will be a small amount of air that will be trapped at the top of the knee rest area within the product core and this could lead to a slight floatation of the front of Shayz. The pump is best for topping off the internal water level in the product core after you've gone through Steps 1 to 3.
