How to Use Chlorine Free Shock
To use Doheny’s Non-Chlorine Oxi-Shock in your swimming pool, the recommended dose is 1 pound for every 10,000 gallons of water. For regular maintenance, non-chlorine pool shock should be added weekly. It is also recommended to add at pool opening and closing, after heavy rainfall and after extensive pool use.
In your spa, the recommended dose of Oxi-Shock is 2 ounces for every 300 gallons of water. Chlorine-free shock should be added to the spa after every use, or once a week if it is not being used.
