Directions for Use

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. This product is made especially to control algae growth in all types of swimming pools. Its long-lasting action will control existing algae. Subsequent doses will control recontamination by algae. Treated water can be used immediately ... no waiting.

This product comes concentrated. Dilute with at least five parts of water before applying. Pour required amount of this product into plastic watering can, fill with water and sprinkle around edge of pool. Apply initial treatment to a freshly filled pool or at first visible signs of algae growth.

This product involves no waiting. Swim immediately after treatment. Do not use in pools where minerals present a problem.

Dilution Chart for Swimming Pools

Dosage Rates:

Every Three Months: 14 fl. oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water will prevent algae growth in all pool types.

Severe Algae Treatment: Use 28 fl. oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons pool water.

General Directions:

1.	Maintain pool water in the pH range of 7.2 to 7.8. Adjust pH to 7.2 for severe algae.
2.	Ensure that filtration system is working properly and that filtration cycle is adequate.
3.	A regular brushing program will assist in the removal of stubborn algae.
4.	Calculate the volume of algaecide required for your pool. 
5.	Add the diluted product directly to the pool, distributing over as wide an area as possible.
6.	While this product controls algae, it is important that adequate levels of sanitizers be maintained to control bacterial growth.

Winter Directions

Use 8 fl. oz. for 10,000 gallons of pool water. Pour the required amount into a plastic watering can, fill with water, and sprinkle the diluted product around the edge of pool. For best results, the mixture must be distributed equally around the edge of the pool.

Add this product to your pool prior to closing. During the winter season check pool periodically for visible algae and reapply this product if necessary.

Storage and Disposal

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Storage: Keep this product in original, tightly closed container in an area inaccessible to children and persons unfamiliar with its use. Store away from food and feedstuffs.

Pesticide Disposal and Container Handling: Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.

• If Empty: offer for recycling or wrap securely in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash or offer for recycling, if available.
• If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
