Easy, efficient and cost-effective way to sanitize and enjoy pool water that's always clean, clear and luxuriously soft. The Aqua Rite Electronic Chlorine Generator from Hayward uses advanced electrolytic technology to convert a small amount of salt into a virtually endless supply of pure chlorine. As pool water passes through the Turbo Cell, an extremely safe electrical charge generated by the control box automatically converts the dissolved salt into chlorine. The water is then dispersed evenly throughout the pool by the return jets. Each time the water is recirculated, the salt-based chlorine gets recharged and the cycle is repeated. And since the salt doesn't wear out or evaporate, you rarely have to add more.

Advantages of using the Aqua Rite In-Ground Salt Chlorination Systems include consistent chlorine dispersion, no harmful byproducts, user-friendly monitor system with LED service alerts, low operating costs and no need for additional plumbing. Installs easily on standard filtration systems. NSF, CUL and UL approved.

Aqua Rite Salt Chlorinator FAQ

What makes salt different from chlorine in pools?

In a home pool, a salt chlorination system helps you prevent the odor, dry skin and red eyes associated with traditional chlorine. It's safe, easy to use and affordable too!

Will switching to a salt water system for my pool save money?

Absolutely! Salt water chlorinators are much cheaper to operate and you don't have to store giant containers of chlorine in your garage each year. Plus, you don't have to do any mixing or measuring to get the perfect mix.
