- 6 × 1-3/4" Screws
- 2 × 3/4" Screws
- 14 × Elastic Straps
- 3 × Tubes (2 small, 1 large, approx. 8'6")
2. Installing the Wheels
- Adjust the axle on the T-Base so it is visible from both ends.
- Slide the Wheel onto the axle.
- Place the small washer on the axle.
- Insert the Cotter Pin through the axle and bend outward to lock it.
- Slide the Cap into place (see Figure 1 in PDF, page 2).
- Repeat for the second wheel.
3. Installing the Wheel Handle
- Insert the Elastic Straps into the grooves of the Tube. Ensure even placement for proper support.
- Slide the large Tube Adapter into the T-Base.
- Insert the Dowel into the Tube Adapter at a 90° angle to lock it in place (see Figure 3 in PDF, page 3).
- Slide the Wheel Handle onto the top of the base. Line up the screw hole with the pre-drilled hole in the Tube Adapter axle. A rubber mallet may help if needed.
- Secure with M5X80 Screw and M5 Closed Nut.
4. Installing the Tube Adapter to the Base
- On the opposite side of the Wheel Handle, insert the Tube Adapter into the top of the base.
- Slide the Dowel into the Tube Adapter.
- Place the Washer into the Tube Adapter.
- Secure with M5X40 Screw and M5 Open Nut.
- Slide the Cap into place. A rubber mallet may be required.
5. Installing the Tubes
- Attach the small tube to the Tube Adapter, exposing the three screw holes on each end.
- Attach the large tube, followed by the second small tube.
- Secure tubes to adapters using 1-3/4" screws and a drill (see Figure 4 in PDF, page 3).
- Use 1/2" screws to secure the tubes further (see Figure 5 in PDF, page 3).
6. Attaching the Pool Cover
- Position the Solar Reel near the pool edge for rectangular pools, or at the midpoint for irregular pools.
- Carefully punch a hole in the cover using scissors or a screwdriver.
- Insert the Elastic Strap into the cover casing (see Figure 6 in PDF, page 3).
- Unfold the Elastic Strap to lock it securely in place (see Figure 7 in PDF, page 3).
- If the reel is offset, fold the cover where the Elastic Straps attach so the straps pass through both sides.
7. Attaching the Fixation (Steel Bracket)
- Adjust tube length to fit your pool width.
- Slide the Fixation into the groove and line up the indentation with the screw line.
- Insert the 3/4" Screw next to the bracket and drill into place. The Fixation Screw locks the tube in place.
- Repeat for the second fixation on the opposite side of the reel.
Maintenance Tips
- Inspect the Solar Reel regularly for wear or loose screws.
- Keep the tubes and Elastic Straps clean and free from debris.
- Store indoors during off-season or cover to prevent UV damage.
- Do not force any components; use gentle pressure or a rubber mallet as needed.
