Confer In-Pool Deck Ladder (Model #635-52X / SKU 6581) – Support & Installation
The Confer 635-52X is a straight up-and-down in-pool ladder designed to be attached directly to your pool deck. It provides a stable, space-saving entry point for above-ground pools with existing deck structures.
Technical Specifications
- Weight Capacity: Supports a single person up to 250 lbs.
- Deck Compatibility: Adjustable tubes allow the ladder to fit deck heights between 46" and 56".
- Installation Footprint: The ladder should be installed 3" to 6" away from the pool wall.
- Ballast Requirement: Requires 10 lbs of sand (5 lbs per leg) to ensure the ladder remains submerged and stable.
Installation & Maintenance Highlights
- Proper Assembly: Use a cordless drill only for assembly; never use a corded drill near the pool to avoid electrocution risks.
- Submergence: The ladder MUST rest firmly on the pool bottom. If your deck is built higher than the pool, EB100 3-inch risers may be required to reach the floor.
- Winterizing: Unfasten the ladder from the mounting blocks and remove it from the water. Lay it on its side for several minutes to drain completely before storage.
- Lubrication Tip: Apply a small amount of liquid soap or lubricant to the adjustable tubes to help them slide into the mounting blocks more easily during setup.
