The Vinyl Works SLD Snap-Lock ladder is a durable entry solution designed for above-ground pools with decks up to 60 inches high. Its unique snap-lock design ensures a secure fit without complex hardware, providing a stable and safe way to enter and exit your pool.
Safety Instructions & Proper Use
- Load Capacity: Rated for one person up to 300 lbs when properly assembled and installed.
- Pool Compatibility: Designed for use with above-ground pools only and decks measuring a maximum of 60" from pool floor to deck floor.
- Entry/Exit: Always face the ladder while climbing and utilize the double handrails for additional stability.
- Safety Warning: Absolutely NO DIVING or JUMPING from the ladder. To prevent entrapment, do not swim through, behind, or around the ladder.
Key Installation Highlights
- Deck Mounting: For maximum strength, the handrails are designed to pass through the deck surface. Two deck mount flanges are provided to secure the ladder to your deck.
- Liner Protection: Using a ladder pad is highly recommended to protect your pool liner from potential wear.
- Snap-Lock Assembly: The treads and base are secured using molded lock pins and button-lock tabs. Ensure all components are fully snapped into place using a rubber mallet if necessary.
- Adjustable Base: The base tread can be rotated to ensure it sits perfectly flat on the pool floor, regardless of the ladder's angle.
Tools Required for Assembly
You will need a 7/16" socket/wrench, Phillips screwdriver, measuring tape, drill with 1/8" and 1/4" bits, a rubber mallet, and a hole saw for deck modification.
IMPORTANT: Never allow children to swim unattended. Do not secure items like thermometers or toys to the ladder, as they may create tripping or entrapment hazards.
