Meyco 12-Year Limited Warranty Overview
To ensure your Meyco safety cover remains protected under its 12-year limited warranty, the following manufacturer requirements must be met during use and off-season storage.
Conditions for Warranty Coverage:
- Full Coverage Period: Meyco covers defects in material and workmanship for the first two years. From years 3 through 12, replacement is provided on a pro-rata basis.
- Water Level Requirement: Pool water levels must be maintained within 18" of the pool top during the snow season. Levels falling lower than 18" cause undue stress on the fabric and hardware, which is not covered by the warranty.
- Installation Tension: Mesh covers must be kept "drum-tight" at all times. Loose or sagging covers subject to wind or snow-load damage will void warranty claims.
- Surface Protection: Do not drag the cover over abrasive surfaces like concrete or brick. Material tears or "pulls" caused by dragging or catching on anchor necks are considered preventable damage.
What is Not Covered:
Damage resulting from misuse, animal damage, chemical burns, or use on a pool other than the original installation is not covered. For solid covers, the automatic cover pump must be used to remove standing water to maintain safety standards.
